La sessione

C++ metaprogramming, what’s wrong?

Everyone using C++ is also using metacode (as a ““user””, e.g. instantiating an std::vector), but what really is metacode and why it’s writing metacode so much more difficult than regular coding in C++? In this talk I’ll first quickly introduce metaprogramming in general and how this area has been implemented in other languages and then talk about the C++ approach, its evolution and about fundamental issues that are still making writing C++ metacode problematic.

Il relatore
